In preparation for the 13th session of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Council to be held by the end of July, 2019, a meeting was held On July 23, in Ha Long city to review the draft resolution on policies attracting and encouraging students to study in some majors at Ha Long University.
According to the draft, Ha Long University's students will be offered with some of the incentives to study in regular training programs in the school years of 2019-2020, and up to 2027 – 2028, in the majors, namely Administration of travel and travel services; hotel management; restaurant management and catering services; Japanese and Korean language training; Aquaculture.
Those incentives are said to be enough attractive to allure more capable students to study in the Ha Long University, creating favorable conditions and encourage them to achieve high results in their study.
After reviewing the draft resolution, the councillors basically agreed on the content of the draft and raised their opinions and contributions to some specific contents to ensure the convincing submission to the Provincial People's Council for consideration and decision at the coming Congress. They also proposed relevant departments to enhance propaganda activities so that the students could be able to approach the policies. It is expected to contribute to improving the Ha Long University’s students and the quality of human resources of the province, especially in the field of services and tourism.
