More passenger trains to be added on National Day
Vietnam Railways has planned to increase passenger trains on various routes and offer preferential ticket prices to meet the increasing travel demand on the upcoming National Day (September 2).
Discounts of 5% will be offered to individual passengers who buy round-trip and 7% for group passengers of 20 and above who buy return tickets.
Additional trains will operate on routes, including Ho Chi Minh City – Nha Trang/Quy Nhon, Nha Trang – Da Nang, and Hanoi-Quang Binh.
The SE30 train will run from Ho Chi Minh City to Quy Nhon from August 29 to September 2 and the SE29 train will run from Quy Nhon to Ho Chi Minh City from August 30 to September 3.
The Ho Chi Minh City - Nha Trang route will have an additional SNT4 train that will run from Ho Chi Minh City to Nha Trang from August 29-30 and an SNT8 train on August 30, while an SNT5 train will run from Nha Trang to Ho Chi Minh City on September 2-3.
The Nha Trang - Da Nang route will have SE42 train from August 30 to September 1 and SE41 train from Da Nang to Nha Trang from August 31 to September 2.
Moreover, the Hanoi - Dong Hoi route will see additional trains QB1 and SE17 from August 30 to September 3.
In the northern region, the Hanoi – Lao Cai route will operate added trains SP7 and SP8, while the Hanoi – Hai Phong route will see additional trains LP9, HP3, LP10, and HP4.
