Mong Cai urged to focus on key projects

During the inspection on Nov. 7 regarding the performance of socio-economic development and security-defence tasks in 2018, Secretary of the Provincial Party’s Committee Nguyen Van Doc urged Mong Cai city to continue facilitating the implementation of the key projects in the city.

As reported, the results of the implemenation of the Resolution No9 by the Provincial Party’s Committee on the 2018 tasks shows that 12 out of 16 crietia included in the Resolution have been satisfied. Of which,the total number of tourists, the total State budget collection see a rise over the same period last year.

Bussiness and investment climate of the City have been improved; the number of enterprises increased with 158 newly-established enterprises, making up 903 in total based in the city. Most of them specilize in tourism, services, trade and agriculture…

Besides the key projects, Secretary Nguyen Van Doc requested the People’s Committee of Mong Cai city to stricly punish illegal cases in transport; closely collaborate with defence forces and customs in managing export and import activities, rasing the effectiveness of the border travel agent management, as well as enhancing the preventation of smuggle and commercial fraud, thereby fostering the socio-economic development and fulfiling all the assigned tasks.

Working with leaders of some major enterprises in Mong Cai city, Secretary Nguyen Van Doc listened to their difficulties in export-import activities, tourism and services. He then asked the Mong Cai People’s Committee as well as relevant authorities to deal with problems facing the enterprises, and support them in their bussiness activities in accordance with the national and international laws.
