Being completed in just a short time, Mong Cai Hospital for Special Isolation reflects Quang Ninh’s determination and demonstrating the responsibility of the leading provinces in preventing and controlling acute respiratory disease caused by novel coronavirus.
The hospital was established basing on the Mong Cai Medical Center with a total investment of 233 billion VND. Coming into official operation on Feb, 3rd, the hospital is totally isolated from surrounding areas. The 500-bed hospital, covering an area of 10,000m2, is said able to be upgraded into 1,000-bed one. Quang Ninh province has spent 138 billion VND on medical equipment to fight against new coronavirus disease. The authority also mobilized good doctors and nurses at Mong Cai Medical Center and physicians at other hospitals in the province to work at Mong Cai Hospital for Special Isolation.
