On Nov 13th, a delegation led by Minster and Chairman of Government Office Mai Tien Dung had a working session with Quang Ninh’s leaders regarding the implementation of administrative reform, the supply of public services, and the construction of E-government.
Quang Ninh is considered a leading province in building E-government and setting up Provincial Public Service Administration Center and sub-centers at 14 localities. Over the past years, the province has reviewed and minimizedunsuitable administrative procedures, saving 40% of time dealing with administrative papers. The application of information and technology as well as digital signature helps Quang Ninh to save 30-40 billion VND annually concerning administrative costs.
Quang Ninh is finishing final touches for connecting provincial public service portal with the national one inearly 2019.
Quang Ninh’s Chairman, Nguyen Van Thang, emphasized that the successful operation of E-government and the connection of public services would bring great benefits to the government and the country as a whole so Quang Ninh had carried out detailed plans concerning E-government.
To conclude the meeting, Minster and Chairman of Government Office said that Quang Ninh had a number of pioneer and creative models, including administrative reform. These modelsare good enough for other provinces and cities nationwide to follow and should be widely multiplied in the country.
