On Oct 25th, Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee held a meeting on some missions to be carried out in the coming time. Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Thang chaired the meeting.
Quang Ninh’s chairman Nguyen Van Thang agreed with the 2 projects, namely a resort under the concept of trade services and housing in Ha Phong Ward, Residential Area in Dai Yen Ward, Ha Long City. He asked the Department of Construction and Ha Long Municipal People’s Committee to add ideas raised by Provincial People’s Committee to complete the projects then submit to Provincial Standing Party Committee for consideration.
As for the Denim and Knitted Fabric Plant at Hai Ha Texhong Industrial Zone (first phase), Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee also agreed with the investment. However, departments, the industrial zone management board, and Hai Ha District were requested to review and asked for consultancy of the Ministry of Science and Technology in terms of environmental impacts once the project was carried out.
Besides, Quang Ninh’s chairman also emphasized that projects which have investment procedures prepared in the last months of the year, for example improving the quality of management and training at Ha Long University, IT application to improve the operational efficiency of labor-war invalids-social welfare sector, smart school construction…., must be reviewed and investment resource should be concentrated in the key projects.
