Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has recently collaborated with Hoanh Bo district People’s Committee to organize a conference to adopt the scientific documents of the Man Mountain historic and scenic complex. All participants at the conference unanimously agreed to recognize it as a national relic.This document will be initially reported to the Scientific Council for consideration in the coming June.
Man Mountain is located in Thong Nhat commune, Hoanh Bo district. It has not only natural beauty but also historic and cultural values. It features the system of limestone, majestic caves as well as abundant fauna and flora. Additionally, Man Mountain is the home of Bach Thach temple, shrines of Ong Lang, Ong Dai, Thanh Mau …which create a complex of valuable relics.
The recognition of Man Mountain as a national relic will help to confirm its values as well as to have better protection and management.
