The luxury cruise ship Viking Orion docked on October 3 at Hon Gai port in Ha Long city bringing 847 visitors from the US to Halong Bay for the first time.
During the two-day visit in Ha long, the ship made a tour around the re-owned Halong Bay, and visited a number of attractions in Ha Long and Uong Bi, then moved to Hanoi capital. As scheduled, the ship left Halong Bay for another trip to other countries in the region.
The 47,800-ton, 930-passenger cruise ship Viking Orion offers destination-oriented cruising experience, with few at-sea days, long in-ports days and more exciting overnights in key spots. Ship's features include complimentary Wi-Fi, free shore excursions, wine and beer with no charge at dinner and lunch.
