On the afternoon of July 10, on Co To Island, a lost purse was returned to its owner, Nguyen Thi Hang, a 27 year old tourist from Hanoi.
The purse had been found by Colonel Dao Thu Thu, Deputy Secretary of Co To District Military Party Committee on the morning of the same day. Colonel Dao Thu Thu then contacted Co To Media and Culture Center to inform guests staying at hotels and hostels on the island. The purse has two smartphones and 3.2 mil VND. Receiving her belongings, Hang was moved and expressed her gratitude to Colonel Thu.
