Ha Long University in cooperation with the Center for Supporting Green Development (GreenHub) and Ha Long City’s Youth Union held a launching ceremony of an eloquence contest on environment themed “GreenTalk – Voice from nature”.
The competition has taken place from Sept. 21 to Oct. 30 with 3 stages, including stories around me, I take action and I speak out issues concerning plastic waste, white pollution and other current serious environmental problems. The competition has also responded to the movement “Against plastic waste” on the basis of promoting green actions and 3Rs initiative on plastic waste issue. The event is a good opportunity for all people to speak out and share personal views about the environment, especially plastic waste, thereby contributing to building a sustainable development environment. The competition is within the framework of the project “Plastic Waste Reduction Action Network” ( PAN) sponsored by the Coca - Cola global Fund.
