On Mar. 22, in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh's Vice Chairwoman Vu Thi Thu Thuy hosted a welcome ceremony for Israeli President Reuven Ruvi Rivlin and his spouse on the occasion of their State visit in Vietnam from March 19-15.
Quang Ninh's Vice Chairwoman warmly welcomed the President and delegation, and briefed some information about Quang Ninh's outstanding achievements in recent years.
President Ruvi Rivlin, for his part, expressed his pleasure to visit Quang Ninh and the Ha Long Bay World Natural Heritage Site. He wished that Quang Ninh province would continue to gain good achievements in socio-economic development, especially in tourism sector.
Earlier, on Mar. 23, the Israeli President and his couterpart had talks with the leaders of Vietnam's Party and State in Ha Noi city. They left Quang Ninh for Ho Chi Minh city as the visit wrapped up.
