On Jan.15, in Mong Cai city, a summit delegation of Dongxing city (China) led by Mr. Liu Rufen, Secretary of Dongxing City People's Committee paid a visit to Quang Ninh and had a talk with leaders of Mong Cai City People's Committee (Quang Ninh, Vietnam), on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the diplomatic relation between Vietnam and China.
At the talk, Secreatary of Mong Cai City People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Ky strongly believed that with great efforts of the two sides, the diplomatic tie between Vietnam and China has helped to consolidate the traditional friendship and mutual understanding between people of Vietnam and China in general and people of Mong Cai and Dongxing cities in particular.
Ky emphasized that Mong Cai city has the best effort to coordinate with Dongxing city in building a peaceful and stable border for the happiness of the people of the two cities.
Also at the talk, leaders of Dongxing and Mong Cai cities discussed about a number of issues to which the two sides paid much concerns, such as: the progress of drawing planning for Mong Cai-Dongxing border economic cooperation area; tourism cooperation through border, and the cooperation in managing border trade...
In addition, the two sides also discussed about the sollutions to deal with problems raised in some projects, namely: developing specialized waterway served for port services, the economic cooperation area through Mong Cai-Dongxing border, or the project expanding the wharf of border trading (Dongxing City)...
