On Jan. 7, QNPPC had a meeting with a delegation of the ministries of the Science and Technology; Agriculture and Rural development; Investment and Planning led by Mr. Bui Tat Thang- Head of Development Strategy Institute (under the Investment and Planing ministry). Mr. Do Thong, Standing Vice-Chaiman of QNPPC has received and worked with the delegation.
As planned, Ha Long Star golf course will be built on an area of 147 hectares with a total investment capital of around VND 667 billion in a duration of 5 years.
Regarding the addition of the Ha Long Star golf course into the planning for Vietnam golf courses, all of the participants representing for the ministries strongly agreed with the building of the golf course in Quang Ninh in order to meet the growing demand in sport activities of the local people and visitors, especially the bussinessmen, experts and international tourists.
Speaking at the meeting, Standing Vice-Chairman of QNPPC Do Thong strongly affirmed that the location of the golf course complies with regulations by the Government. Therefore, Mr. Do Thong requested the delegation to consider and report to the Prime Minister to permit Quang Ninh to build a golf course in Ha Long city, creating an impetus to attract investors to the province.
