The 19th International Exhibition on Products, Equipment, Supplies for Pharmaceutical, Medical, Hospital and Rehabilitation (Vietnam Medi-Pharm 2012) opened on May 9 at the Friendship Cultural Palace in Hanoi.
The four-day fair drew the participation of over 350 enterprises from 27 countries and territories to showcase pharmaceutical materials, equipment and high-tech products in 450 booths.
Held by the Ministry of Health, the annual event consists of the fifth international exhibition on hospitals, the first international exhibition on dental materials, the sixth exhibition on Chinese pharmacy and healthcare equipments in Vietnam.
Major exhibits include medical/surgical instruments and devices, hospital equipment, fixtures and fittings, pharmaceutical raw materials, processing and packing equipment, finished medicines, medical /first-aid supplies disposables, medical ambulances, in-vehicle fittings, dental equipment and supplies.
Vietnam Medi-Pharm 2012 is expected to set development orientations for the national healthcare and pharmaceutical sector.
