On August 9, the Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh PPC received Indonesian Ambassador Mayerfas and his entourage on the occasion of their courtesy visit to Quang Ninh.
At the reception, the Vice Chairman Nguyen Van Thanh said that the time-honoured friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Indonesia in general and among Quang Ninh and Indonesia’s cities in particular are progressing well and benefiting development in both countries.
He also introduced the delegation about Quang Ninh’s socio-economic development situation as well as its potentials and strengths in many fields. Quang Ninh has been allowed to establish several economic and industrial zones; therefore, he expressed hope for welcoming more and more Indonesian investors to Quang Ninh in the time to come.
Indonesian Ambassador Mayerfas showed his deep admiration for Quang Ninh’s rapid growth. He confirmed that Indonesian investors always appreciate Quang Ninh’s potentials in many fields such as tourism, seaport, building material production, etc. Thus, the Ambassador asked the province to offer Indonesian businesses with more incentive policies to stimulate their investment activities in Quang Ninh.
The Vice Chairman Nguyen Van Thanh wished that the official visit would promote the cooperation among Quang Ninh province and Indonesia’s provinces, cities and business community.
Quang Ninh commits to provide Indonesian investors with the most favorable conditions to successfully carry out their investment project in the province, he stressed./.
