On January 15, the delegation of Huaphanh province (Laos) led by Mr. Kham Von Bun Thi Vong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, paid a visit to Quang Ninh on the occasion of the Vietnam's upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday.
Visiting and extending their Tet wishes to Quang Ninh's people, Mr. Kham Von Bun Tha Vong congratulated Quang Ninh province on its achievements in 2019. He then made a brief introduction of positive results in cooperation and exchange between the two provinces of Huaphanh and Quang Ninh, especially the partnership in constructing Huaphanh - Quang Ninh Friendship Park; and in training pupils and students from the Laotian province in Quang Ninh province.
On the occasion of the upcoming traditional Tet, Mr. Kham Von Bun Tha Von sent his best wishes for a happy and prosperous year to the Party, government and people of Quang Ninh province, and hoped that the friendship and solidarity of the both sides would be further promoted.
For his part, Standing Deputy Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party’s Committee Ngo Hoang Ngan strongly affirmed that the cooperation between Quang Ninh and Huaphanh, along with other localities of Laos would continue to be enhanced in all fields, thereby contributing to fostering the friendship between Vietnam and Laos in general, Quang Ninh and other provinces of Laos in particular.
