October 14, in Ha Long, the leaders of the Ministry of Traffic-Transport worked with those of Quang Ninh on the highway project from Ha Long to Hai Phong.
As reported by the General Transportation Designing and Consulting. the entire 25-km-long, 27-m-wide section with 4 lanes costing nearly 10,000 billion VND. There are 9 bridges, including 5 medium, 4 large. When completed, it will take only over 2 hours to travel from Ha Noi to Quang Ninh compared with 4 hours at present.
One considered plan is the public-private partnership investment model, with 30% of budget capital, the rest from private investors, with plans of 25-year-fare taking and the implementation of real estate projects along the section.
