On Jan. 15, in Ha Long city, Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee Pham Minh Chinh has received a high-ranking delegation led by Dr. Kang Chang Hee- Chairman of the Korean NA’s 19th term within its working visit in Vietnam from Jan. 13 -16, 2013 in the invitation of NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung.
At the reception, Secretary Chinh expressed his happiness and pride of the winning of Ha Long Bay and Jeju Island (of South Korea) to become Natural Wonders of the World. Chinh hoped that through this visit the cooperation between the two countries in general as well as between Korea and Quang Ninh province in particular will be more tightened and further developed.
Also at the reception, delegates have discussed about green growth in the economic development. Secretary Chinh made an introduction of Quang Ninh’s favorable conditions in geography, natural features and culture that facilitates the multi-faced development in economy, culture and society.
After the reception, the delegation visited the world’s natural wonder Ha Long Bay.
