Strengthening the supervision of health of entire populations and prevention pathogens in the community are important measures being implemented by the health sector against Covid-19 in the new context. Along with public health declaration, pharmacies and drugstores have also participated in reporting cases with symtoms of acute respiratory disease.
In order to enhance the effectiveness of health supervision through pharmacies and drugstores, Quang Ninh’s health sector has trained 100% of pharmacists at pharmacies and drugstores across the province to exploit epidemiological information of drug buyers. Quang Ninh Department of Health also signed commitments with the owners of pharmacies and drugstores to seriously comply with the above-mentioned regulation. Currently, Quang Ninh’s Department of Health has regularly inspected pharmacies and drugstores in the implementation of commitments to report cases with symtoms of acute respiratory disease, thus early detecting pathogens in the community. Locals with symtoms of fever, cough, shortness of breath, flu should undertake health examination and tests at the nearest medical units.
