‘Happy Vietnam’ photo and video contest to honour nearly 30 works

The ‘Happy Vietnam’ photo and video contest 2023 will honour the 30 best photos and videos featuring the beauty of the land and people of Vietnam, with a total prize value of over 400 million VND.

The opening ceremony of the photo exhibition and announcement of the awardees will take place in Hanoi on December 19.

This is the first time a photo and video contest on human values and community empathy has been held by the Ministry of Information and Communication through the online platform https://vietnam.vn.

After four months, from June to October 2023, the contest attracted more than 7,000 entries from both domestic and foreign authors.

Each work depicts an interesting story, a beautiful memory filled with happiness, or perspectives on life with hardships but remaining full of smiles and joy.

About 30 of the best works out of the 7,000 entries will be honoured at the award ceremony, while 70 photos and 14 videos will also be showcased at the exhibition.
