A conference on tourism promotion of Ha Tinh in Quang Ninh was held on Dec. 27 in Ha Long city by Ha Tinh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, with the attendance of over 60 businesses from the two provinces.
At the conference, representative of Ha Tinh tourism sector made an introduction about Ha Tinh’s potential and advantages for tourism development, tourist attractions and various tourism products and services.
Enterprises and travel agencies of both sides had a chance to exchange and discuss about measures to bolstering tourism development, tourism connection, as well as the setting up tourism cooperation between Quang Ninh and Ha Tinh in the upcoming time. The two sides also committed to ensure the best quality, reasonable prices, and incentives for tourists from the two sides visiting the two provinces.
The conference was expected to be a good occasion intensifying the partnership between Quang Ninh and Ha Tinh provinces, helping to find out the measures to attract tourists, especially the Chinese, to visit Quang Ninh and Ha Tinh.
The highlight of the conference was the MoU on tourism development cooperation and promotion signed by representatives of tourism enterprises of Quang Ninh and Ha Tinh.
Ha Tinh has great potential for tourism development, particularly marine and spiritual tourism. As reported, in 2017, the province has received nearly 1.4 mliion of tourist arrivals, up 25.6% in comparision with the same period last year.
