On July 13, at the first campus in Nam Khe Ward, Uong Bi City, Ha Long University held a graduation ceremony for more than 200 students at the first course. Vice Chairperson of Quang Ninh People’s Committee and the principal of Ha Long University, Vu Thi Thu Thuy, relevant departments, agencies and units attended the event.
The first course of the regular university has 257 students studying 5 training ologies, including Tourism Service and Travel Administration, Cultural Management, English language, Chinese language and Computer Science.
At the end of the course, 211 out 257 students are qualified to graduate, accounting for 82%. Especially, 100% of students in Chinese language major and 50% of students from English one, Tourism Service and Travel Administration which are the key training ologies of Ha Long University, find jobs in line with their specialty before the graduation.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairperson of Quang Ninh People’s Committee and the principal of Ha Long University, Vu Thi Thu Thuy, appraised students’ great achievements. She hoped that in the future, Ha Long University would continue to improve programs, contents and methods of teaching and learning effectively, contributing to building Ha Long University into a reliable address to train high-quality human resources for the province and the country.
