According to the Festival organization board, there are around 70,000 tourist's arrivals to the Ha Long Sakura festival 2016 in 4 days (from march 18th-21th).
With the theme "Integration-Cooperation and Development", this year's festival has more sakura trees than last year. This is an annual activity held by Ha Long city People' Committee and Japan’s Wanokai International Culture Association aiming at enhancing and tightening the friendship between Vietnam and Japan in general and Quang Ninh and other Japan's localities in particular.
This event is also one of the activies of Quang Ninh Ha Long tourism week 2016.
