Ha Long hosts APICTA 2019 Awards on Nov 19-22

On Nov 13th, Quang Ninh’s Standing Vice-chairman, Dang Huy Hau, had a working session with Vietnam Software and IT Services Association VINASA, the organizer of the Asia-Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) Awards, regarding the preparation of the event.

APICTA Awards is an international prize sponsored by the Asia-Pacific ICT Alliance to honour excellent products, software solutions, information and technology and star-ups from 16 member countries and economies of APICTA. The event will take place in Ha Long City from Nov 19-22 with the participation of around 900-1,000 delegates.

Within the scope of the event, Quang Ninh and VINASA will also organize other activities, namely international seminar on digital shift and smart cities, Ha Long Cultural Night, an exhibition on IT awards, and an awarding ceremony….

To conclude the meeting, Quang Ninh’s Standing Vice-chairman asked the Department of Information and Communications to review the detailed plan for a series of activities. He also noted that Ha Long Cultural Night must be a special gala with the aim of introducing Ha Long’s culture, land and people.
