In order to implement the Prime Minister’s order of forbidding nationwide gatherings of over 20 people and banning crowds of more than 10 people outside offices, schools and hospitals and carry out Quang Ninh Provincial Steering Committee on Covid -19 prevention and control, since early morning of Mar 27, Ha Long City’s authority has applied stricter control on activities at public places, especially at markets.
Accordingly, the authority asks functional bodies strictly control the people flow into market. Everyone must go through the main entrances of the markets, undertake body temperature check, medical and travelling declaration at the entrance. They must wear face masks while shopping. The elderly and children are not allowed to go into the market. Traders are also required to wear face masks. The authority also asks non-essential businesses to close.
Municipal authority in coordination with the trade and industry sector work with businesses and providers to ensure essential supply for locals, control market prices to avoid price hike and scarcity.
