Ha Long Carnival- the highlight of the Ha Long Tourism Week 2012 took place on May 1 at Bai Chay tourism area (Ha Long city) drew the participation of thousands of tourists and local people.
Under the them of “Quang Ninh-Convergence and Diffusion”, the carnival this year promoted cultural values of ethnic groups; cultural and tourism potentials of all areas within the province in order to introduce and attract international and domestic tourists to visit and explore the new World Wonder of Nature Ha Long Bay. Particularly, the Carnival Ha Long 2012 was featured with national cultural identities which were performed and shown by representatives of ethnic groups.
The combination of laser light, fireworks performance and colorful festival dresses of over 3,800 artists, students made a magical and sparkling Ha Long.
