On the morning of October 15, Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) held a ceremony to grant certificates of energy efficiency use to 6 enterprises in the province.
This is one of the activities to enhance incentives on the energy management and saving under the Technical Cooperation Project sponsored by JICA for the second phase to promote green growth in Ha Long Bay area.
The certificate granting program is annually organized and the certificates are valid for 3 years with 1-star, 2-star and 3-star ratings, thereby encouraging units and businesses to continuously reduce energy consumption.
The certificate-awarded units will be listed in the provincial white book on green growth, thereby promoting the community and society to economically and efficiently use energy.
