Genting Dream cruise ship docked at Hon Gai Floating port on Oct. 31, bringing around 3,400 international tourists to Ha Long. This is the cruise ship that brings the largest number of tourists to Ha Long this year.
Saigontourist travel agent’s Quang Ninh branch received the cruise ship and organised tours for the passengers to visit Ha Long Bay and other sightseeing spots in the city.
Under Dream Cruises, Genting Dream cruise ship has a capacity of 3,400 passengers. The cruise ship is designed for the Asian cruise market and well-equiped with restaurants, casino and specially designed cabins and offers a wide range of entertaining activities.
The Genting Dream is 335.33m long (1,100 ft 2 in), 39.7 m wide (130 ft), a size of 150,695 GT, and a top speed of over 23 knots.
Besides the Genting Dream, Chinese Taishan and Celebrity will be the next cruise ships to dock in Ha Long, bringing over 2,000 international tourists, according to a representative of the Saigontourist agency.
