According to the statistics of the Inland Waterway Port Authority (under Quang Ninh Transport Department), within 9 days of free entry (from Jan. 23 to Feb. 5, 2012), Ha Long has received nearly 74,000 tourist arrivals.
Accordingly, there is an average of about 8,200 tourist arrivals to Ha Long each day.
After being named on the list of new 7 natural wonders of the world, this is the first time Quang Ninh province has offered the longest-ever free entry to everyone
It is reported that, in collaboration of Quang Ninh Transport Department and Ha Long Bay Management Department, security, safety and good services for visitors are all ensured.
