Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Doc on Oct. 30 has received a delegation of foreign financiers and investors from Hongkong, China, and Hai Dang Construction Investment Jointstock Company regarding investment opportunities in the province.
Most of them highly appreciated Quang Ninh’s potential and strengths, as well as achievements in the socio-economic development over the years. They were especially impressed by Quang Ninh’s good preparations for the construction of the Van Don Special Administrative and Economic zone (SEZ).
Having studied the investment climate of Quang Ninh, some of the foreign finaciers and investors proposed Quang Ninh’s leader to allow them to study the project on building deep water seaports in the area of Hon Net (Cam Pha city) and in Van Don SEZ.
Also, they wished to be provided with more information about investment policies and incentives of Quang Ninh.
Applauding the willingness of the foreign investors and financiers who would like to boost their investments in Quang Ninh, the Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Doc strongly affirmed that Quang Ninh always offers the best conditions for investors during their investments in the province.
Regarding the construction of the deep water seaport in the area of Hon Net (in Cam Pha city), the leader of Quang Ninh’s Party stressed that it is a very important project for the province in general and Van Don SEZ in particular. It will be one of the best deep water seaports in the North of Vietnam to accommodate vessels with high capacity.
Thus, he encouraged the investors to continue their investment exploration in Quang Ninh, and present their project proposal in the soonest time so that the next stages could be undertaken.
He then assigned the Economic zone’s Management Board to be the focal point of contact to connect other relevant sectors and organizations with the invetsors, as well as to provide them in time all the related information about investment incentives and policies.
