The Government has approved the fireworks shows at Ha Long Carnival 2012, according to the Official Dispatch No. 2732/VPVP-KGVX dated April 20, 2012 by the Government Office of Vietnam.
The Ha Long Carnival 2012, scheduled to take place in the evening of May 1, is the highlight of the Ha Long Tourism Week 2012 which is slated for April 24- May 2 in Ha Long city and other districts and cities across the province.
Other key activities of the Tourism Week will include the best MC on Ha Long Bay contest, Ha Long photo exhibition, music and art performance on Ha Long-Quang Ninh, cuisine festival, trade fair, sports tournament, etc.
Having been organized since 1998 and already become a special tourist product which lures the large participation of local people, domestic and international visitors.
The tourism week is not only an important event to promote the image and landscapes of Quang Ninh. It also contributes to our competitiveness in the tourism industry. Further it's a good chance to further promote Ha Long Bay and raise awareness of the importance of conservation among both locals and tourists.
