Cedar Park is located in the center of Co To town, right next to the Uncle Ho monument a must-visit attraction in exploration journey on Co To Island.
Besides natural landscape value, Cedar Park was built from the idea of preserving precious gene sources and promoting the value of Co To cedar trees, thus forming an unique cedar park in the heart of the island district. This is also one of the projects within the scope of research on embellishing and expanding Unclo Ho relic site on Co To island.
Co To cedar is a precious and beautiful ornamental tree. Therefore, the cedar park with hundreds of previous and ancient cedar trees of different shapes will create a magnet for visitors when exploring Co To island. The cedar park is built on a total area of more than 6 ha. Up to now, the park has completed the first phase with an area of 1.6 ha, contributing to beautifying the monument area.
In the Cedar Park, there’re more than 145 different types of cedar trees which are carefully and beautifully decorated by skilled artisans, creating impressive landscape. The cultural space harmoniously combining natural landscape, the beauty of precious cedar trees turns Co To Cedar Park into one of new and interesting attractions for tourists to Co To pearl island.
