Different from other streets of the same kind, the walking street in Quang Ha Town (Hai Ha District) has an attractive space thanks to the unique characteristics of old street in harmony with a river running in the heart of the town. All bring to tourists peaceful and colorful experiences.
Quang Ha Walking Street stretches more than 980 m through Chu Van An, Tran Khanh Du, and Ly Thuong Kiet Streets in Quang Ha Town. This is the first walking street in Hai Ha District with the aim of creating a local new tourism product and providing community space for both locals and tourists.
Close-to-each-other built houses with ancient features bring to tourists an adequate view on cultural and daily life of Hai Ha’s people. Taking a walk along the peaceful street, watching colorful lanterns, and admiring the mild river running in the heart of the romantic town, you may fall in love with this beautiful place. Many tourists think that the area of the walking street is like an enormous and beautiful epics film studio.
Going to Quang Ha Walking Street, tourists do not miss out the chance to enjoy local specialties. Apart from yummy dishes at Culinary Area along riverside Chu Van An Street, you can also enjoy performances at an out-door stage, take part in folklore games, and listen to songs, poems, and instrumental music played by street artists…
The walking street is open from 7 p.m to midnight every Saturday. In every 2nd week of month, there are cultural and art performances, folklore games, exchanges, dancing…as gifts for visitors to Hai Ha District. Coming into operation since May 2018, the walking street has become the district’s tourist attraction.
Apart from Quang Ha Walking Street, tourists to Hai Ha District can travel to other tourist attractions, namely romantic Cai Chien Island, Quang Long lush green Tea Hills, Truc Bai Son Lake….
