Exhibition reveals idyllic beauty of Vietnam’s rural areas
The most outstanding pictures of the late talented photographer Vu Anh Dung (1976-2022), were displayed to the public at an exhibition, organised by the Hanoi Old Quarter Cultural Exchange Centre from October 8 to 10.
Themed ‘Hon Que’ (The Soul of Homeland), the exhibits highlight the idyllic beauty and daily life of the people in Vietnam’s rural areas.
Born in a rural village on the outskirts of Hanoi, Vu Anh Dung was a popular name in the Vietnamese photography community, thanks to his pictures capturing beautiful, poetic moments of nature and people.
He took numerous photo collections of the land and people in Vietnam’s northern areas. The late photographer won many national and international photography awards during his career.
Visiting the exhibition, female photographer Phan Thi Khanh hailed Vu Anh Tung as a talented and established name in landscape photography throughout Vietnam. He always showed his dedication at work and willingness to support his colleagues, Khanh recalled.
