On May 13, the New Energy Newspaper coordinated with the Hanoi Young Calligraphers Club to organize an exhibition entitled “Calligraphic paintings of Uncle Ho’s poems” in Hanoi.
The event was held to mark the 123rd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birth, contributing to the activities to learn and follow the moral example of President Ho Chi Minh.
President Ho Chi Minh wrote more than 170 poems in Chinese, including The Prison Diary, consisting of 133 poems.
The exhibition drew the participation of 28 young Vietnamese calligraphers from the Hanoi Young Calligraphers’ Association; researchers on Chinese scripts; representatives from the Ho Chi Minh Museum Institute and the Party Central Committee’s Commission of Propaganda and Education; and scholars.
The exhibition is being held at two places: it opened at the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group’s Centre in Hanoi on May 13 and will be at the Temple of Literature on May 15 -16.
