In the framework of the 132nd IPU held in Hanoi city, on April 1st, Vice President of European Parliament Dimitrios Papadimoulis paid a visit to Ha Long Bay. Vice Chairman of QNPPC Le Quang Tung received the delegation.
Speaking at the reception, Vice Chairman of QNPPC Le Quang Tung made a brief introduction covering favourable potential and advantages of Quang Ninh for socio-economic development. He particularly highlighted Ha Long bay, the World Natural Heritage and Wonder as well as other famous tourism attractions in Quang Ninh. He hoped that under his role, the Vice President of European Parliament would help promote the cooperation between Quang Ninh and other European cities, espeacially tourism area.
For his part, Mr. Dimitrios Papadmoulis expressed his impression of the beauty of Ha Long Bay and the hospitality of Quang Ninh's people. He promised to boost Quang Ninh tourism to his international friends.
