Food and necessities supply to serve locals’ daily life during the period of social distancing have been well provided thanks to the participation of all functional departments and businesses. They confirmed that they had prepared hundreds of tons of food and necessities to provide the market.
As reported, food and necessities at markets, trade centers, supermarkets, and places selling goods for price stabilization have been maintained, ensuring locals’ shopping demand during the period of social distancing.
According to Department of Industry and Trade, total value of commodities at trade centers and supermarkets has been estimated at 175 billion VND. In the context of Covid-19 spirals, they have made plans of a supplement with a worth of 310 billion VND to ensure the supply. Therefore, panic buying is not necessary.
