Ensuring Covid-19 prevention and control at pay-to-stay quarantine facilities

Along with isolation places designated by the Government, people entering Vietnam can opt for pay-to-stay quarantine service from September 1. In Quang Ninh, dozens of hotels have registered to be quarantine places provided that they follow regulations on Covid-19 prevention and control.

There are 9 hotels of 3 stars and plus in Ha Long City receiving over 1,000 quarantined people over the last 2 weeks. 7 other hotels have registered to be quarantine places and been qualified for pay-to-stay quarantine service. To ensure the safety, all people back to Vietnam via Van Don international airport will have their health checks, make medical declarations, and be sent to designated places for isolation. During the 14-day quarantine, their health will be supervised and tested for Covid-19 virus at least 2 times.
