Ha Long Municipal People’s Committee has recently issued Document No. 6398/UBND on the implementation of regulations on transporting visitors to Ha Long Bay.
Accordingly, Ha Long Municipal People’s Committee requires tourist boats to ensure the operation of Very High Frequency (VHF) System, GPS, and surveillance cameras (on both sides of the boat, in community rooms for passengers, and in engine room) during their trips on Ha Long Bay. Crews must wear uniform and nameplates with job titles. Besides, the passenger transportation contract must be carried along. Violators will be fined as regulated.
The enhancement in supervising the implementation of regulations on transporting visitors to Ha Long Bay will improves the quality of services, thereby affirming the position of Ha Long Bay as the both domestic and international tourists’ top choice because of its both beauty and the quality of services.
