On Apr 5, Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee sent official documents to people’s committees at district, communal and municipal levels on the enhancement in management and supervision of exercise and walking activities at public areas as well as the operation of traditional markets.
In order to implement nationwide social distancing amid Covid-19 prevention and control, Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee bans the operation of public parks in the province. People’s committees at localities require the public park managers not to allow local people to gather at public squares and gardens.
People’s committees at localities ask communes, wards, and town to strengthen the supervision of people doing exercises and taking a walk to ensure no gatherings of more than two people, wearing face masks and maintaining at least two-meter distance. Besides, propaganda activities on the limit of going to traditional markets should be enhanced. Local people go to the traditional markets just in case of necessity and while wearing face masks and keeping a distance of at least two meters from each others.
Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee also requires localities to impose strict punishment for violators to ensure Covid-19 prevention and control during the peak period.
