On Nov. 3, in Ha Long city, Vice Chairman of QNPPC Nguyen Van Thanh welcomed a delegation from embassy of the U.S in Vietnam headed by Greg D.A lesandro, a political official, on the accasion of his working visit to Quang Ninh.
Thanh introduced a snapshot of Quang Ninh's recent achievements in socio-economic development and ensuring social welfare as well as development guidelines of the province in the future. Accordingly, Quang Ninh has strongly put its resources for cultural and socio-economic development .Therefore, Quang Ninh is now one of the five leading localities in nationwide for budget collection. Along with that, environmental protection activities have been strengthened. International cooperation for socio-economic development is extended resulting encouraging achievements. Quang Ninh strives to become an industrial and service province by 2020.
Thanh proposed the embassy of the U.S in Vietnam to continue to bridge Quang Ninh and other localities and enterprises of the U.S for the mututal development.
Mr. Greg D.A lesandro, in turn, expressed his sincere thanks for warm welcome of Quang Ninh's leaders. He promised that the embassy of the U.S in Vietnam would offer the best conditions for American enterprises to come and explore inveestment opportunities in Quang Ninh.
As scheduled, the delegation will field-survey to other localities in Quang Ninh till Nov. 5.
