The Vietnam-Hanoi Tourism Joint Stock Company plans to launch the first double-decker bus route through Halong city on June 15.
The first double-decker bus is scheduled to be put into service on June 15 with hop-on and hop-off at 9 stops, running through a variety of attractions in Halong city such as Bai Chay tourism area, Halong No.1 market, the square of October 30, the provincial Museum, Bai Chay coastal road, Hon Gai area, Tuan Chau tourism area, etc. The total length of the route is 53 kilometers.
The buses are armed with GPS system, the system of flat floor enables the elderly, children or the wheelchairs of people with disabilities to hop on and hop off.
Passengers on board receive all conveniences, including free Wi-fi, USB charging ports, a refrigerator, monitor, and surveillance camera system for passenger safety.
Bus stops have been under construction by the Vietnam-Hanoi Tourism Joint Stock Company and will be put into service on June 15.
This service is a new tourist products which can make a siginicant contribution to promoting the image of Halong, offering tourists a new way to enjoy the beauty of the coastal city and reduce the traffic volume in the city center, especially during this tourist season.
