A documentary film named ‘Ho Chi Minh, portrait of a man’ is scheduled to be screened in Laos on May 18 – 19, as part of activities to celebrate the 123rd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birth.
The film, co-directed by Bui Dinh Hac and Le Manh Thich and first published on the occasion of his 100th birthday in 1990, is considered by critics to be one of the best documentary films on the life and career of Uncle Ho.
It is going to be dubbed in Lao and Lao subtitles for President Ho Chi Minh’s speeches and broadcast on Lao national television.
Additionally, the Vietnamese Culture Centre in Laos plans on distributing 300 copies of the film.
