On Feb 2nd, Deputy PM, cum head of the steering committee on prevention of acute respiratory disease caused by the novel corona virus (nCoV), made his site survey to Quang Ninh to check disease prevention and control. He was accompanied by Quang Ninh Provincial Party’s Committee Secretary, cum Chairman of People’s Council, Nguyen Xuan Ky, Chairman of People’s Committee, Nguyen Van Thang, and other leaders of ministries and departments.
At Mong Cai International Border Gate, the Deputy PM checked areas for entry and exit procedures and body temperature checking. According to Mong Cai City, on Feb 2nd, no Chinese carried entry procedures via the gate. By 2pm of the same day, Mong Cai authority had isolated 105 people from China to Vietnam at local hotels.
On his site survey at Mong Cai Hospital for Isolation, the Deputy PM highly appreciated the province for promptly ad quickly implementing the Government’s guidance on acute respiratory disease caused by the novel corona virus.
He emphasized that Quang Ninh is a tourism province with different ways of travelling, namely by road, by sea, and by air, therefore the province needs to widely publish the Government in general and the province’s regulations in particular on the disease prevention and control.
