On Nov. 11, in the framework of working visit in Vietnam, delegation of the California State Senate headed by Mr. Dairell Steiberg - the Senate President paid a visit to Quang Ninh province. On behalf the provincial leaders, Mr. Tran Xuan Cuong, standing member of Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Council (hereafter QNPPC) has received the delegation.
On behalf of delegation of the California State Senate, Mr. Darrell Steiberg sincerely thanked the leaders of QNPPC for their cordial reception to the delegation. He is delighted to hear that Ha Long Bay, Vietnam has become one of the New 7 Wonders of the World, based on preliminary voting results. At the same time, he hoped that through this visit, the cooperation between California State (the U.S) and Quang Ninh Province (Vietnam) will be further extended and developed in the fields of economy, culture and tourism.
After the working session, the delegation visited Ha Long Bay- the new natural wonder of the world.
