At the meeting, both sides agreed to resume customs clearance via Bac Luan Bridge No.2 on Feb 7. In the short-term, materials, which will be used for production at Texhong Group at Mong Cai Border Economic Zone and for medical supply against the disease, are given priority. From Feb 8, usual customs clearance will be conducted for other kinds of commodities.

Both sides also reached consensus on strict medical quarantine. Accordingly, vehicles transporting commodities from China to Vietnam will be sprayed with disinfectants. Drivers will get medical check-ups apart from being equipped with protection clothes. Workers who are responsible for loading and unloading commodities are also under strict management and must be provided with protection clothes.

As for vehicles transporting commodities from Vietnam to China, the same medical regulations are applied.
