On Sept. 25th, Quang Ninh Provincial Party’s Standing Committee held a meeting to review the adjustment, supplement and deployment of some dynamic transport projects in Quang Ninh Province.
At the meeting, a number of issues related to these projects have been discussed, such as: the investment of Cua Luc bridge No.1 Project and Cua Luc bridge No.3 Project which connect Ha Long City with Hoanh Bo District. According to the planning, there will be 3 bridges from Bai Chay – Cai Lan Area to the south of Hoanh Bo District across Cua Luc Bay. At the first stage, Quang Ninh will implement the construction of the bridges No.1 & No.3.
Once operational, these bridges will contribute to creating favarable condition to expand development space between Ha Long City and Hoanh Bo District, thus effectively exploiting and managing land resouce, especially the limestone mountain ecosystem and Hoanh Bo’s Dong Son – Ky Thuong Conservation Area, as well as developing unique tourism products that combine Ha Long Bay’s sea tourism products with forest ones.
