On May 6, Quang Ninh Media Group (QMG) had a working session with China’s Guangxi Daily Newspaper Media Group to discuss the cooperation plan in the upcoming time.
Addressing the working session, QMG Director Mai Vu Tuan underlined the possitive results of the cooperation plan that the two organizations had recently achieved in line with the guidelines of the two countries, Vietnam and China, in general and two localities, Quang Ninh and Guangxi, in particular.
The fruitful collaboration in field of communications has made a significant contribution to promoting the natural beauty, culture, people, potential and advantages for socio-economic development, and investment incentives of the two countries.
In detail, Quang Ninh Newspaper has translated into Vietnamese and posted 410 articles provided by Guangxi Daily Newspaper and the Chinese partner has also translated into Chinese and posted 223 articles produced by the Quang Ninh province since April, 2011. Additionally, a range of cultural exchanging activities as well as building capacity workshops have been jointly organized so as to tighten the cooperation between the two media groups.
Highlighting the power of communications and the growing trends of communication cooperation in this new era, QMG director Mai Vu Tuan proposed the ways in which the two sides could enhance close collaboration by keeping effectively carrying out all of the programs in the previous plan and other programs which have not been conducted such as advertising, printing and reporter exchange.
He shared his hope for the achievement of the plan in acting as an effective “bridge” linking the two localities in particular and the two countries in general.
For his part, Deputy General Editor of Guangxi Daily Newspaper Media Group, Chen Shiping, highly appreciated the cooperative results of the two agencies.
A variety of media products jointly produced under the cooperation plan have been not merely praised by readers and audiences but also enhancing the mutual understanding and tightening the friendship among people from the two countries, he added.
He agreed with the QMG Director’s suggestions for further coalition on the two sides’ media channels and more regular exchange of information on new communication trends.
At the working session, the leaders of the two media groups inked an agreement on cooperation plan of the year 2019.
