On Aug. 20, Quang Ninh’s Chairman, Nguyen Van Thang, presided over a meeting regarding preparations for the Conference on South Korean investment promotion which is planned to take place on Aug. 28 and 29 in Ha Long City.
With the theme “Quang Ninh 2020 – Destination for investment”, the conference is expected to attract the participation of 60 corporations and big firms from South Korea, including those which are investing in Vietnam.
Concluding the meeting, Quang Ninh’s Chairman emphasized that the conference played an important role in boosting the investment of South Korean groups and enterprises into Quang Ninh. Quang Ninh Investment Promotion Agency is responsible for working with relevant departments to build a detailed plan for organizing the conference, make good preparation for the event. Amid Covid-19 spirals, attendants’ safety will be given top priority.
