On Nov. 1, in Ha Long city, under the framework of international scienctific conference on “Journalism in globalization: Opportunities, Challenges and Prospects”, the 5th workshop was jointly held by Vietnam Academy of Journalism and Communication; Vietnam Journalists Association and Quang Ninh Radio and Television Station in collaboration with the University of Vienna, Australia. The topic of this workshop is “Global Communication and local press agencies’ duties”
At the workshop, the delegates focused their speeches on the issues concerning duties of local pressd in the globalization process; opportunities, challenges and prospects; effective ways undertaken by local press in extending external relations...
The conference plays an important role in contributing to the construction and development of journalism in each locality and each nations. It also create a basis for the local press agencies to set up television projects, innovating contents and improving the professionalism and keeping up with the trends of modern journalism and communication.
